| MEET THE AWF STAFF: Christian Fauser, Public Lands Coordinator
Christian's passion for recreating in Arizona's wild spaces is only rivaled by his drive to protect them. Christian earned his bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Conservation from the University of Montana and a master’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Northern Arizona University. He has played a significant role in several advocacy and organizing efforts in Arizona focused on public lands and water protection. His passion is educating hunters and anglers about the importance of protecting Arizona’s wild places and wildlife, and building an effective new generation of public land advocates. In his role at AWF, Christian is working hard to defend public lands from sale or transfer, advocate for adequate public lands funding, encourage wildlife-friendly energy development and transmission, and increase awareness of the importance of riparian protection and restoration in Arizona.
