ADVOCATE

Image by George Andrejko for the Arizona Game and Fish Department

Arizona’s diverse public lands, and the wildlife they support, are an integral part of our state’s identity and outdoor heritage. We must all work to conserve them for future generations.

ACTION THROUGH ADVOCACY

When we put our voices together, decision-makers listen.

That’s why we ask you to take action on key issues by signing petitions, sending emails to decision-makers, calling them, or tagging them on social media, etc.

Below are our current action alerts and campaigns that you can take action on to make a big difference:

ACTION ALERT: Send an Email to Your Senator — Do Not Support This Package of 8 Anti-Public Lands Bills and Memorials

Arizonans are facing a critical moment in our fight to protect our public lands. Whether you enjoy fishing, hunting, birdwatching, or camping and hiking, these bills impact your access to Arizona’s great outdoors. These lands are the very foundation of hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation in our state and your voice is needed now more than ever to safeguard this treasured resource. A package of EIGHT anti-public lands bills, many shaped by out-of-state interests, are heading to the Senate to be voted on. These bills pose a significant threat to our sporting heritage and all outdoor recreation. See more details about the bills and why each of them are problematic here.

TELL YOUR SENATOR TO SUPPORT THE RECOVERING AMERICA'S WILDLIFE ACT

The crisis facing our nation’s fish and wildlife is daunting. More than one-third of all species in the United States are at risk of becoming threatened or endangered unless we proactively implement on-the-ground conservation measures. The Recovering America’ s Wildlife Act presents a solution that meets the magnitude of the challenge, and would represent the largest investment in conservation funding in more than a generation.
