El chonte del barrio lives 4 blocks from the border of Nogales Arizona and Nogales Sonora, I enjoy walking every morning and riding my bicycle in our beautiful Santa Cruz County, also I like to observe the wild animals that share their space with us and our great landscape that surrenders to us. And most of the time my old Sony camera accompanied me. During my morning walks I encounter this beautiful bird eating a wild fruit and let me take this picture.

My name is Tanya Mitchell. I am a Wildlife Photographer and a full time college student. I will be graduating in May 2019 with my degree in Environmental Technology. I plan on using my degree to work out in nature and to help better the environment and our wildlife habitats. Wildlife is my passion and I will do as much as I can to help with wildlife conservation. I am a resident of Graham County, AZ. I enjoy camping, fishing, birding, golfing, and pretty much everything that has to do with nature and the outdoors. “Your Majesty Awaits” was nestled in the Foothills of Tucson when I captured the picture. I was lucky enough to take some great shots and to be able to get up close and personal with such a beautiful Barn Owl.

I’m Mark Koster from Scottsdale, Az, originally from Davenport, Iowa. Worked in broadcast TV 28 years directing TV newscasts at 2 TV stations in the Quad Cities market. I’m semi-retired now working part time at The City of Scottsdale park and Recreation Department. I enjoy obviously being outside doing wildlife photography with my passion the “raptor” birds! The Scottsdale eagle I entered into this contest is “Bandit” the male eagle of the Gainey Ranch nesting pair. I have been following this pair for a couple years now and literally have thousands of photos of these beautiful birds, in flight, capturing prey, devouring prey all in the urban wild! If you enjoy this photo…YOU MUST check out my very public FB page sharing many photos daily. Thanks for the opportunity of letting me share just one photo in this contest..
