GAOA Passes Senate Vote

We are beyond pleased to announce that this week, the U.S. Senate passed the historic Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA), which includes permanent funding for the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) as well as infrastructure funding for our nations parks. AWF has been a strong and vocal proponent of LWCF and GAOA educating Arizona elected officials on the importance of these bills and coordinating advocacy with our members and partners. It's great to see that good things can get done when we work hard and work together!

We thank both Arizona Senator's Martha McSally and Kyrsten Sinema for their supporting votes and we also thank you, the AWF members, who took time from their busy schedules to make those calls and write those letters urging our representatives to support this historic legislation.
