Take Action on Public Lands

Our public lands are uniquely part of our national identity. Nowhere else in the world do the people have a birthright to such wealth regardless of their social status or their bank accounts. In Arizona, we are blessed with over 30 million acres of public lands that host an amazing diversity of habitats and wildlife. These lands provide a vast array of uses from timber harvest and cattle grazing to countless recreational activities such as camping, hiking, wildlife watching, hunting, and fishing. William Perry Pendley puts these lands and all they provide us at direct risk.

Your voice makes a difference to declension makers. But our fight isn't over yet. GAOA faces opposition in the House of Representatives. Next week, GAOA will come to a vote. It's time to speak up to your Representative today, the bill comes to a vote on the House floor on July 22nd!

AWF's Year in Review

AWF’s fiscal year goes July to July, and the last 12 months have been quite a ride! Our year started on the high note of being named NWF’s Affiliate of the Year and ended with cancellations of virtually all our normally busy spring activities due to the COVID pandemic. Despite the ups and downs, AWF saw significant progress with some of our long running advocacy campaigns, meaningful expansion of our programs and partnerships with affiliates and businesses, and solid growth in our organizational capabilities.
